Change or Cancel an Order
We’re sorry that in most circumstances it’s not possible to make changes to your order once you’ve placed it.
If you’d like to add products to your order, please place a new order for these items.
If you need to change details of your delivery address, remove items from your order or cancel it completely, e-mail email@example.com. Please be ready to quote your order number and order date.
If your order has already been despatched or delivered, then you’ll need to follow our returns procedure below in the event of any unwanted products. You can also of course return them to a DIY Centre shop.
Delivery Pricing and Times
We pride ourselves on our rapid service and aim to despatch all orders promptly: you should receive yours within 3-5 working days. If for some reason your parcel doesn't arrive within 10 working days, please contact us.
Postage and Packing (UK and Channel Islands)
POST FREE for orders £50 and over
For orders up to £49.99 - £5.00
Express Next Day Delivery - normal postage and packing costs plus £6.00
These rates apply to each individual mainland UK delivery address. Regrettably, express delivery is not available to the Channel Islands.
We only currently accept online payment from cards issued by UK banks. Please contact us if you'd like to place an order but have a card issued by a non-UK bank.
Express Delivery (UK only)
Even though our normal service is fast, we also offer express delivery. The cost of this service, regardless of parcel size or weight, is a supplement of £6.00 over and above our normal postage and packing rates.
Place your order before 12 noon Monday to Thursday and we'll despatch your parcel on our express service for delivery the following working day. We can't make weekend deliveries so orders placed before 12 noon Friday will be delivered the following Monday and orders placed after 12 noon Friday will be delivered the following Tuesday. Express deliveries aren't made on bank holidays.
We're unable to specify a time for express deliveries, delivery can take place anytime between 8am and 9pm and all express delivery parcels will need to be signed for on delivery.
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly or the Scottish Highlands and Islands
Express delivery isn't guaranteed to certain remote areas. Where applicable, deliveries will be completed as quickly as possible.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you're not, just return the product to us or to one of our shops and we will give you a full refund or exchange with no fuss.
If your order arrives and the goods are damaged, please contact us within 24 hours.
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, if you buy online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 7 working days of receipt. This includes any delivery charges you’ve paid, provided you return the full order.
If you return a product to our shops for a refund but don't have your proof of purchase (original till receipt, order confirmation or delivery note), we will give you a gift voucher to the value of the current selling price.
Ordinarily we'll refund the original debit or credit used to purchase.
Royal Mail: Simply complete the returns note detailing the order number, stock number, the reason for return and whether you’d like a refund or a replacement and return this with the item(s) in their original unopened packaging. Please obtain proof of postage from the Post Office.
In store: take the delivery note and the item you wish to return or exchange to one of our shops, and tell the shop assistant you bought it online.
